What happens if it rains on my event day?

Every package includes a comprehensive rain plan. Our beautiful indoor banquet hall can accommodate the same guest count as our outdoor spaces, with elegant décor and climate control. We monitor weather forecasts closely and work with you to make the call 24-48 hours before your event. Many couples even prefer our indoor space!

Can we have a rehearsal before our wedding?

Yes! Our Classic and Signature packages include rehearsal access. Typically, rehearsals are scheduled the evening before your wedding for 1-2 hours. We'll have a coordinator on-site to walk you through the ceremony flow and answer any questions.

Question 3

What are your décor rules and restrictions?

Accepted Answer

We encourage personal touches! You're welcome to bring your own centerpieces, signage, and decorations. We do not allow open flames (flameless candles are perfect), confetti, or anything that damages the property. Floral installations must be free-standing. Our team will share a detailed décor guide once you book.

Can we do a sparkler send-off?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Sparkler send-offs are a favorite at Havenwing. We provide a designated outdoor area and safety guidelines. We ask that you use 20-inch sparklers (36-inch are too long) and provide buckets for proper disposal. Our team will coordinate timing and setup.

Question 5

Are pets allowed at the venue?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we're pet-friendly! Well-behaved dogs are welcome to participate in your ceremony or photos. We ask that you designate a handler to care for your pet after the ceremony, and pets must remain leashed in common areas.

Can we bring in outside catering?

Accepted Answer

We have a preferred caterer list, but you're welcome to bring in your own licensed and insured caterer. Outside caterers must provide a certificate of insurance and adhere to our kitchen use guidelines. Our on-site restaurant can also provide catering for many event types.

What bar packages do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We offer three tiers: Beer & Wine (includes 4 beer selections and 4 wines), Full Bar (adds liquor, mixers, and signature cocktails), and Premium Bar (top-shelf spirits and craft cocktails). All packages include a professional bartender, cups, ice, and standard mixers. Cash bar and hosted bar options available.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Havenwing Vineyards is fully ADA accessible. Our banquet hall, restrooms, and outdoor ceremony sites have wheelchair-accessible routes. Accessible parking is available near the main entrance. Please let us know in advance if you have specific accessibility needs so we can ensure everything is prepared.

How much parking is available?

Accepted Answer

We have on-site parking for up to 100 vehicles in our paved lot, plus overflow grass parking for larger events. Valet parking is included in our Signature package and available as an add-on for other packages. The parking area is well-lit and just a short walk from both venues.

Question 10

What's included in the venue rental fee?

Accepted Answer

Your rental fee includes the venue space(s), tables, chairs, basic setup/breakdown, on-site coordination, parking, and restroom facilities. Linens, catering, bar service, and décor are available as add-ons or through our preferred vendors. Each package has different inclusions—see our Packages page for details.

Can we tour the venue before booking?

Absolutely! We encourage all prospective clients to schedule a tour. Tours are available Tuesday-Sunday by appointment. During your tour, you'll see both indoor and outdoor spaces, meet with a coordinator, discuss your vision, and get answers to all your questions. Book your tour using our contact form.

Question 12

What's your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Accepted Answer

We understand plans change. Your booking deposit is non-refundable, but we're happy to work with you on rescheduling to another available date within 18 months of your original date (one-time reschedule, no fee). Cancellations forfeit the deposit. Final payments are due 30 days before your event and are non-refundable.

Are Friday or Sunday events available?

Absolutely! Friday and Sunday events are increasingly popular for couples. These dates often have more availability and offer the same beautiful vineyard experience. Contact us to check availability for your preferred date.

Question 14

How far in advance should we book?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking 9-18 months in advance for peak season (April-June, September-October). Popular Saturdays in these months book 12+ months out. For off-peak season and weekday events, 6-9 months is usually sufficient. We occasionally have last-minute availability—reach out to check!

Question 15

What time can vendors arrive for setup?

Vendor load-in typically begins 3-4 hours before your event start time (included in your rental period). For weddings, this means setup usually starts around 1-2 PM for a 5 PM ceremony. Your coordinator will create a detailed timeline and share it with all vendors to ensure smooth setup.

Is there a noise curfew?

Outdoor amplified music must end by 10 PM per county ordinance. Indoor events can continue until midnight. Most events naturally wrap up between 10-11 PM. If you'd like to extend your event past the standard rental time, additional hours can be purchased (subject to availability).

Do you host multiple events per day?

Accepted Answer

We typically host one event per day to ensure you have our full attention and exclusive use of the grounds. On rare occasions, we may schedule a morning/brunch event and an evening event on the same day if they use different spaces, but this is coordinated carefully to avoid any overlap.

Can we visit the restaurant before our event?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Our on-site restaurant is open to the public Thursday-Sunday. We encourage you to stop by for lunch or dinner to experience our cuisine and hospitality. Reservations are recommended on weekends. You can also request a tasting appointment when booking your event to sample catering options.
